Undergraduate Researcher

I am an undergraduate student at UCD pursuing a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, but my family is originally from Ethiopia. I plan on continuing my studies to become a physician assistant. I am interested in biology education research to ensure that healthcare and science education are more equitable and accessible for all. I am also interested in understanding the underlying issues that create disparities and injustices between different populations in the STEM field. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, traveling and spending time with loved ones.
