Undergraduate Researcher

My name is Victoria Feng and I am an incoming third-year undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior along with a Pre-PA track at UC Davis. I immigrated to the United States with my mother in 2013 due to lack of education opportunities, self-cognition, and pressure from the National College Entrance Examinations (GaoKao). After moving to the United States and attending middle school, I received encouragement and kindness from classmates and teachers for the first time and was actually involved in the community. Lastly, I am interested in participating in Biology Education Research since I know many students around the world are also suffering from unequal treatment in learning and have little educational opportunities; in fact, people from different ethnicities and backgrounds in STEM are also enduring many different "voices". I am interested in how these situations affect different populations in the world and hopefully find the ultimate solution to such problems.
