FRANCISCA DOGBE

Undergraduate Researcher

I am an undergraduate student at UC Davis pursuing a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. I was born in Japan and later immigrated to the United States but my family are from Ghana. I plan on furthering my studies to become a surgeon some day.

I am interested in biology education research because I find it very important to acknowledge disparities within the educational and healthcare system and extract productive ways to promote active solutions to today’s problems. I am interested in finding ways to increase POC presence when it comes to the STEM field and STEM educational system.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, baking and

spending time with loved ones.
