Medical Student Researcher and Mentor

I am currently a 2nd year medical student at the UC Davis School of Medicine, in the Transforming Education and Community Medicine M.D track (TEACH-MS), that emphasizes urban underserved patient care. I am passionate about health equity and am interested in specializing in psychiatry to advocate for marginalized communities and their mental health.

 

I joined the Tripp Lab because, together, we are propelling social justice in medicine and inspiring others to do the same. 

 

Fun facts about me: I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and am a proud Latina from a Mexican immigrant family. As a first generation college student, I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Psychology in 2018. I am also a dog mom to the cutest Frenchie named Yoda.
