ALEX PULIDO

Undergraduate Researcher

I grew up in a small town in the Central Valley and am currently an undergraduate student at UC Davis majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior with an emphasis in Neurobiology. I joined the Tripp Lab because I believe it is incredibly important to address the disparities within the field of STEM. Creating equitable opportunities for students from underrepresented backgrounds is essential for driving systemic change in STEM education and promoting social justice in undergraduate classrooms. My work at Clinica Tepati, a student-run clinic on campus, has further driven my passion for social justice in underserved and underrepresented communities.

Fun facts about me: I broke my hand during a football game in high school and didn't realize it was broken until the end of the game, I am a first-generation college going student, and I owned a crested gecko for 3 years.
