Hello, I am a first-year undergrad student majoring in sociology and community and regional development. My career goal is to have a nonprofit for drug and sex-based harm reduction, but ultimately serve the community I grew up in. I grew up in a lower-income community made up of drug addicts, unhoused populations, and underserved people. Seeing this as a child made me wonder who was helping them. So going to college, I knew I wanted to study something that addressed this . My intention is to learn how I can help the communities that I grew up in by learning how to change cycles of addiction and abuse.
